C# Developer Inside IR35
Remote working initially.
Our client who are a leading media organisation have an opportunity for a C# Developer to join on an initial 6-12 month contract. Please send your CV in the first instance for immediate review.
Role requirements:
- Produce high quality code using Test Driven Development
- Be able to diagnose issues via debugging, logging and tools like NewRelic
- Have an understanding of and be able to implement design patterns (eg GO4), design principles (eg SOLID)
- Have a good understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem including Visual Studio 2017+, ASP.NET MVC and WebApi
- Have a good understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Be able to work with within modern Front End frameworks eg Angular, Knockout or Aurelia
- Be open to and embrace exposure to new architectures, cloud based infrastructures and modern ways of working
Required skills:
- Proven experience working with Microsoft C#, Visual Studio and the .NET Runtime (or equivalent)
- Proven track record of Agile based project delivery
- Proven exposure to one of the following: SQL Database, NoSQL database or Cloud-based storage solutions (TableStorage, SimpleDb or DynamoDb)
- Proven track record of Test Driven Development
- A good understanding of the AWS Cloud (or similar eg Azure)
- An understanding of messaging based architectures
- A good understanding of design patterns and principles eg SOLID and GO4
- Ability to refactor code
- Ability to work in a complex and fast-moving domain
- Ability to quickly debug
