- 12 Month Contract Overview: Our client, a leading FTSE 100 organisation are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Azure & .NET skills.

Role-specific knowledge: • DevOps hands-on experience with Azure • Azure DevOps configuration • Azure resource management, monitoring and diagnostics • SQL PaaS • VM • Azure Frontdoor, Application Gateway, Firewall, etc • Infrastructure as code • Release management • Service Bus, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services, PowerBI • Coding C#, PowerShell, YAML • Kubernetes, Docker • SonarCube Responsibilities and other skills required: • Support developers to effectively utilize the Azure DevOps for the life cycle of software development • Implement build, release, approval pipeline (YMAL) to manage deployment as well as managing role/permission for the team • Provide support for investigating production issue by analysis logs and trace in Azure resources as well as working with other IT teams (Network, Security) • Knowledge in deploying Azure resources from a template as Infrastructure as Code • Coding (C#) and script (PowerShell) to automate the in-house process • Ensure performance and resource monitoring, and alerting is fit for purpose • Ensure Azure costs are monitor and resource implementation is as efficient as possible • Work with the development and support teams to identify, plan and execute service improvements to those systems that are developed • Drive the adoption of best practice and enforce the use of standard systems in any solution deployed • Work with project and support teams to manage service introduction and deployment ensuring best practice by any third-party teams including the delivery of acceptable test scenarios and scripts • Ensure implementation and support documentation is kept up to date • Manage Azure DevOps configurations • Help guide the long-term Azure direction and architecture • Guide, configure and test the DR/HA strategy for each element of the Azure infrastructure Details: • 12 month initial contract.
