Position: Web Developer (Mid Level)
Location: Atlanta, GA - Remote Work
Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire
Core Responsibilities:
Build web-based experiences using responsive HTML/CSS.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Ensure adherence to usability, performance and quality standards
Participate in sprint planning, ensuring user stories are clearly understood and acceptance criteria agreed upon. Document architectures and data flows
Work closely with Technical Program Management to clear roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery
Partner with Creative and Strategy to ensure the technical feasibility of design proposals and UI/UX layouts
Provide input into the development process to increase productivity and efficiency
Job Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully launched online work
Digital Agency background a plus
Experience building CMS-driven (WordPress/Drupal/Sitecore) sites
Experience with front-end web frameworks (Vue/Gatsby) and headless CMS (Contentful/Strapi) back-ends
Experience building API-driven web apps
Working knowledge of Invision, Sketch and Photoshop
Working knowledge of Jira
Ability to think strategically about technical solutions and the bigger picture implications. Ability to think through scenarios and provide the best technical approach for development.
Agile/Scrum development team experience
