Villing & Company (villing.com) is a team of talented specialists addicted to providing uncommon marketing communications solutions that enhance our clients' brands and drive success. We are seeking a knowledgeable web developer to join their interactive department.
As part of the interactive team, you will be part of a team that works on the entire website build from concept to completion. This includes all phases of creating custom websites: planning, development and deployment. While design skills are not a requirement, a basic understanding of user interface and applying design patterns is required
The chosen developer must be able to multi-task and have the ability to work against deadlines. Being involved in the entire process will require strong communications skills and teamwork with not only the interactive department, but every department within the company. A minimum of 5 years experience required.
Minimum Requirements*:
- Development related degree/accreditations and/or 5+ years of on the job experience
- HTML5
- Custom PHP development
- MySQL
- Linux/Apache server management
- Javascript/jQuery
- GIT
- Open source CMS frameworks: Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.
- Fundamental SEO
- Fundamental web standards, optimizations, etc.
- Responsive design
- Adobe CS
Extra Credit Skillset
- SASS/Compass
- Experience with design pattern libraries and atomic web design
- Application development (Ionic/Angular, React, etc)
- Basic networking and IT management
- Advanced SEO
- Adwords campaign management
