SharePoint Administrator
The Company: Async-Nu Microsystems is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to support a potential contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary range is 105-115k. The place of work will be located at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD with potential opportunities for remote work.
The Background: AHRQ is seeking to maintain and enhance agency production systems as well as the architectural, engineering, configuration management, and hosting services needed to support those systems. There is a need for application development, operations and maintenance, and testing and deployment of complex technologies into the existing IT environment
The Position: The SharePoint Administrator will help support, configure, and maintain the SharePoint environments. They will develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, and site collections. Additional duties are described below.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer SharePoint services, including search, content hub, and excel
- Manage SharePoint end user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices regarding privacy
- Support end users with all SharePoint related tasks
- Develop training materials and provide training to users with varying levels of experience
- Assist with efficient implementation of new software products, tools, or systems
- Enhance SharePoint functionality and/or performance as necessary
- Work with end user on deployment of necessary end user software
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint Administrator experience
- Experience with SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 fundamentals including out of the box web parts, lists, content types, workflows, templates, and other SharePoint functionality
- Understanding of SharePoint administration including management of web applications, site collections, web sites, service applications, solution deployment, and backup/restore via Central Administration
- Proven knowledge of SQL Server, IIS, PowerShell, and other services that are related to SharePoint required
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 administration preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to write detailed documentation
- Experience working with Federal Government agencies preferred
