The primary responsibility of the position is to build and maintain the Client Data Mart. Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment under water fall, iterative and/or scrum development methodologies Accountable for providing accurate estimates and logical work plans to deliver technical solutions that meet or exceed quality standards Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts to minimize adverse effects on other applications Develop, execute, and enforce quality assurance routines around technical solutions Clearly, consistently, and proactively communicate status, risks, issues, and concerns to the team Analyze and understand business issues; document and present multiple solutions with pros and cons; recommend optimal solutions that contribute to the overall configuration, design, and layout of the Client Reporting system architecture Daily Coric administration including user management, database maintenance, stored procedure updates, and production support. THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university 7+ years of solid experience in Business Application Software design and development Investment management industry experience highly preferred Strong communication skills with non-technical business users – the role will require significant interaction with business teams TECHNICAL SKILLS
Langages: C# .Net, Java experience a plus Working knowledge of iterative and agile methodologies Batch management tools: Autosys or other comparable package Scripting: PowerShell, Perl RDBMS: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database ETL: IBM DataStage, SSIS, or other comparable package Reporting Tools: Coric, Tableau, SSRS, OBIEE, or other comparable package Operating Systems: Windows Experience with one or more of the following applications/tools a plus – Eagle (or other comparable portfolio accounting system), FrontInvest Data Lake: Zaloni Data Platform, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure
