Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify scope and requirements for requested features
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create web UI layouts and interfaces that are cross-browser compatible
- Integrate data from various backend services and databases
- Create and maintain software documentation
Qualifications (indicate as needed)
- Bachelor’s in STEM field or equivalent
- 3+ years working experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of Python, Javascript, and HTML/CSS
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask/Django
- Experience with JS frameworks such as React/Redux/Angular/Node
- Strong knowledge of REST API development, SQL/Postgres, and schema design concepts
- Agile and test-driven development mindset
- Comfortable with git workflows, including feature branching and gitflow methodology
- Contribute to team growth thru constructive code reviews and clear documentation
- Ability to communicate well in a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers
- Some familiarity with AWS hosting and designing architectures with it
- Some familiarity with micro services and Docker architecture
- Work within a team that will be partially or fully remote

Pay: $51,212.00 - $125,821.00 per year
