Title: Senior .NET Developer
Remote position
Duration: 4-5 months
Except OPT/CPT. No C2C. Looking for W2/1099 only.

Here are some key areas we’re looking for solid skills in:
· C# language features
o a good understanding of both older and newer features. We’re expecting a good working knowledge of older features (ex. Ver. 1.0 - 5) and at least some familiarity with newer features (ex. Ver. 6+.)
o parallel & asynchronous programming
· Object Oriented Programming patterns
o knowledge and experience with patterns & principles the OOP software community has found helpful in regards to making code more understandable, flexible, maintainable, performant, testable, etc.
o we’re not looking for an encyclopedic knowledge of software patterns. We’re looking for experience with commonly used patterns that lead to higher quality code.
· SQL (strong developer focused skills. We wouldn’t turn down DBA level skills, but we’re not requiring them)
o Solid working knowledge of TSQL features
o query performance tuning
o schema design performance tuning (appropriate application of indexes, normalization, etc.)
· .Net Solution stack
o Comfortable from presentation layer, through middle layers, all the way back to the database.
§ Emphasis on middle layers (domain, business, data access) and database (stored procedures, query patterns [understandable, flexible, maintainable, performant, testable])
· Web
o Must haves
§ HTML, JavaScript, & CSS (at least a good working knowledge)
§ RESTful Web APIs
§ Web Forms
o Strongly Preferred
§ Angular 2+
§ MVC style frameworks (ex. ASP.net MVC, Razor Pages, etc.)
· General enterprise level skills
o Unit Testing
o Simple software patterns
o Should have some familiarity with:
§ Some software patterns
§ Commonly used Software Principles
§ Microservices
§ Service Buses
§ Integration tooling (ex. MuleSoft)
o Preferred experience with
§ Azure
§ Containers (ex. Docker)
