Job Description:

TECHEAD is looking for a fully remote MuleSoft Developer to support our client.

Experience requirements:

3+ years object oriented development experience

3+ years Mulesoft development experience

3+ years developing RESTful services using Mulesoft ESB

Understanding of Microservice design principles

Experience with unit test frameworks. MUnit preferred

Experience in developing mule flows in Any point studio

Experience of working with MuleSoft components, workflow, and patterns, and how to configure them.

Must have excellent knowledge on Integration and on Mule interface implementation

Must have experience with working on complex dataweave transformations

Must be able to hold technical design sessions in order to identify client integration requirements and processes

Direct experience with Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and practices.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple detail-oriented tasks

Ability to be effective in an environment of rapid change and complexity.

Exceptional attention to detail and quality.


This position will: 

Develop and perform unit testing of code and the testing of end to end integration

Implement Mules best practices and solutions as well as having advanced Mulesoft troubleshooting skills

Supporting the teams daily duties and activities.

Deliver new and advanced integrations and APIs that support a key revenue platform

Work with the client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support

Design, develop and unit test new features and enhancements using Mulesoft ESB

Develop and maintain APIs for Salesforce integration with backend systems like SAP, and Mainframe

Develop applications in accordance with Client SDLC methodology, industry best practices and departmental policies and standards

Uses client provided CI/CD pipelines for deployments

Maintaining code in GitHub and following branch and versioning rules in code sharing with peers

Additions duties include:

Good understanding of any point platform modules like access management, Runtime , API manager, Exchange and MQs.

Understanding of defining API security rules and policies to enable RESTful APIs for external access.

Should be good in developing design flows , source and target data mappings , details documentation of APIs

Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles and their applicability

Understanding of all the stages of API lifecycle.

Experience with one or more programming languages for API development

A thorough understanding of the Mulesoft platform with the ability to interact with business users to understand requirements in order to translate them into design specifications

Ensures quality through the use of Client company-approved methodologies.

Configure, Design, Develop using MuleSoft and other development tools provided by the client.

Performs code reviews and provides independent assessment and technical review to validate adherence to best practices and design principles that would be compliant with client standards.

Works under tight deadlines and handle multiple detail-oriented tasks

Identifies and drives issues through closure.

Identifies potential risks and suggests remediation controls Required Skills:

At least 3+ year’s previous experience as a MuleSoft developer in a complex environment using MuleSoft and Salesforce Cloud Platform.

Strong experience in Application Development using Mule ESB and API management

Mulesoft Anypoint studio extensive hands-on experience designing with Anypoint Studio and related Mule components (Mule ESB, ETLs, flows, MEL, Filtering, exception handling, API management, Data Weave, RAML, Swagger) is required.
