Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

Qualification Requirements:

Infrastructure system analyst

7-10 years of experience

Strong Working Experience In coordinating infrastructure changes in these areas:

· Networking, Firewall, DNS, Certificate, LoadBalancer.

· VMware – CPU, memory, node management.

· Storage – File system, network file system, automount system management.

· System Backup and Automated Job scheduling

· Unix: Solaris and Linux

o User access management.

o Sudo access management.

o File system security management.

· Middleware – apache web server, Tomcat, Weblogic servers.

· Database – coordinate infrastructure requirements for DB maintenance.

Project Management Requirements:

· Experience in leading large infrastructure projects.

· Must have “ServiceNow” working experience. Prior Fannie Mae experience is plus.

· Build and maintain infrastructure project plans.

· Create and maintain system infrastructure architecture diagrams.

• Good communication skills (lead meetings/collaborate in meetings)
• Engage with multiple roles
  

Host Automation Working Experience:

• Vmware and Puppet

• Strong scripting experience in bash, python or Ruby.

• Strong Linux/Solaris working experience. Certified admin preferred.

• Some AWS Automation experience.

Soft Skills Qualifications

• Self-starter

• Collaborative in team environments and familiar and follow Agile methodology.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent time organization skills.
