Contract Java Developer - Inside IR35 - Remote
Harvey Nash are working with a public sector client in the centre of Newcastle who are looking for a contract Java developers to assist in the completion of 2 key projects that are approaching deadline.
The key skills / reuirements are:
The successfulk candidate will need to pass vetting which requires you to have been a resident of the UK for a minimum of the last 5 years contunouslty
The role is for a contract length of 3 months initially to deliver the project and has a budget of £400 to £425 per day.
Given the origranisation, the role sits within IR35 and must be processed accordingly.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement front end applications using any of the javascript framework like Node Js, Vue Js, Angular Js and React JS
Designing scalable systems and RESTful APIs for high-traffic, zero-downtime systems
Writing clean and concise code that is well-tested, easy to maintain, and consistent with existing patterns in our codebase
Applying appropriate design patterns and SOLID/DRY principles to given solutions and understanding the trade-offs between scope, quality, and cost
Clearly communicate technical information both to other engineers and business stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in software development including design, coding and testing
At least 2 year experience in front end development using JavaScript and any related frameworks, such as Angular, Vue, React, Node JS or Ember.
At least 1 years of experience with a JVM language like Java and/or Scala
At least 2 year of experience with Git, Mercurial, or other distributed version control systems. Alternatively, experience with Subversion will be acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in software development including design, coding, and testing
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline
At least 1 year of experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud provider
At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node
At least 3 years of experience with Vue.js and/or Angular
At least 2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud provider
At least 2 years of experience with CICD pipelines using the relevant technologies
