Senior Full Stack Developer role available for a market leading retailer headquartered in Central London. The company currently serve all their stores and are looking for an innovative and professional developer to join their close knit team. This position will appeal to back end developers with a strong understanding of Node.js and front end developers with Reactjs, the ideal candidate will ideally come from a Java background.

Day to day, the successful developer will be performing a range of tasks as part of the company’s development team. Reporting into the technical lead for each project, you will be responsible for:

• Server-side Node.js application logic
• Integration of the front-end work - Reactjs
• Writing web services and APIs
• Complete back end technical design and build of product
• Integrating user-facing elements with server side logic
• Optimizing the application for maximum speed
• Ensuring security and data protection are ingrained into each project

To apply for the role, it is essential that developers are specialists in back end technologies and have previously worked in a Scrum, XP and Kanban teams. Applicants should also ensure they have:

• Excellent Node.js, JavaScript, React, Redux and Java at a senior coding level
• Good knowledge of Webpack and deployment technologies
• A strong understanding of the principles of TDD and BDD and the development life cycle
• Experience of working in an Agile development team
