We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client who is a multinational publishing company on an initial 4-month contract. This role would usually be based in Blackfriars, London but working remotely for the foreseeable.

The Infrastructure Engineer is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required. The Engineer is expected to be either AWS accredited or working towards that goal.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily Operation, maintenance and life cycle management of Cloud hosted infrastructure
  • Monitor maintain and life cycle management for physical and virtual assets within the Informa Datacentres.
  • Monitor & Maintain server and storage availability
  • Data protection and recovery
  • Patching & Governance
  • Management & maintenance of File Server Services within Informa Datacentres (excluding offices)

Essential Technical Experience & Qualifications

  • AWS Associate Certification or higher
  • Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of:
    • VMWare
    • AWS
    • Azure
    • Linux/Windows
    • SAN Storage
    • Backup Software & Practices

Highly Desirable:

  • AWS professional Certification or higher
  • ITIL Foundation v3

Advantageous:

  • AWS virtual networking experience
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum

We are looking for a PHP web developer for a 3 month contract, starting December 2020. You will need to be a capable, experienced developer, used to remote working and self-managing to ensure projects are successfully completed.

Essential

• PHP, MySQL/SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript web development

• Experience working in a LAMP environment

• Comfortable designing unique systems from scratch

• Confident using version control systems (preferably git)

• A strong understanding of web development security and best practice

Desirable

• Understanding MVC design patterns and object-oriented development techniques

• Knowledge of Zend Framework and/or the Pimcore Content Management System

Our Soho based client are in need of a Back-End Developer for a project they just took on, the right candidate will be someone who is flexible working fromthe office with some supported remote working.

Duration: 

Contract 3 months (12 weeks, excluding Christmas week when the office will be shut), with the option to extend

Specification: 

Mid-level to Senior BACK-END developer 
Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
Writing clean, functional code on the back-end
Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
