The ETL/ SR. DATA DEVELOPER role is to strategically design and implement BI solutions and systems, including integration with a variety of data sources using databases, files of a different formats, and designing/enhancing operational databases and data marts/warehouses. This position's primary responsibility is to help build and maintain a robust Annuity Data Platform infrastructure that is built using AWS services and the candidate will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of data services to our customer. The selected candidate must have experience with the Informatica PowerCenter, Big Data Management tools, Hive, AWS Glue, and Python Spark. The overall responsibility of the candidate will be as follows:
1. Work as an independent contributor in an Agile team
2. Responsible for developing an obfuscation pipeline to mask sensitive data, write routines to validate data files coming from the source system before shipping it on the AWS cloud for further development
3. Responsible for code and design review of applications, ensuring the data flows are engineered as per the expectancy of our business customers
4. Model database to support new requirements, write ETL pipeline from Landing to Staging and Staging to ODS and DWH.
5. Develop Logical and Physical data model
6. Use Transformation objects to transform the data as per business requirement and integrate the data to support Business reporting, analytics, and Dashboard
7. Take responsibility for estimating, planning, and managing all of his/her own tasks and reporting on progress. Work as a team player in the Agile POD to support QA and other teams to support the development and testing of the Annuity Data and Reporting Platform.
8. Develop automation programs, using Informatica BDM/AWS Glue, Python scripts, and other utilities to support the overall goal of an end to end automation and supporting IT Technology strategies
9. Deploy code using existing DevOps pipeline integrated with GitLab code
10. Open tickets to promote the code to production
