DevOps Engineer - 12mth contract - Flexible working (Southampton for meetings) - Java C++ CI/CD SOA
DevOps Engineer 12 months contract Southampton, Hampshire (there is some flexibility on remote working but realistically it is a maximum 50% onsite 50% remote) A well-established healthcare Institution is refining their approach to the technology and supporting their community, customers and partners - so are expanding their operations and are urgently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer; to help them get to the next phase of their transformation plans.
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, Familiarity with agile software development in C++, Java, JavaScript
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools
- Significant experience with Windows operating system environments
- Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python
- Experience of build and maintaining web servers
- Familiarity of version control systems
- Experience in a software development team building modern web applications
- Experience with Bootstrap or similar CSS/JS framework
- Experience working with service oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience with API design and development
- Proficient understanding of database (MSSQL), including T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
- Experience in dealing with healthcare or sensitive data
- Experience in writing strategy documents and implementing them.
- Experience of managing and supporting large complex integration solutions and app developments.
- Experience of Scrum framework and Agile processes
- Writing unit tests with moq or similar testing framework
