Data Engineer – Azure (Remote)

We’re working with a successful consultancy branching out to the UK, who are looking for data engineers to help their client with the building of a new enterprise data product. If you’ve got experience of the Azure stack including Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks then you will be rewarded with a long-term plan contract with remote working opportunities!

What you’ll be doing:

• Data modelling and scheme design for the product
• Engage with client stakeholders including partners and analytical teams
• Data pipelines creation for all things batch, micro-batch and real-time data streams
• Engage with clients through workshops to help shape their future strategy with roadmaps and implementation plans

What you’ll need:

• A few years of commercial experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack including Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
• Azure Databricks
• Experience with ETL processes (SSIS, Informatica etc.)
• Python and PySpark

What would be nice to have:

• Data Vault 2 would be beneficial for data warehouse design
• Azure DevOps Git experience
