My client in the financial industry is looking a 3 rd line engineer to join their team based in the City of London.
The Role:
- Providing 3rd Line Technical Support to customers
- Create and maintain suitable customer infrastructure/service documentation
- Working closely with 1st line and 2nd line technical support and field engineers
- Escalate incidents to service team leader
- Assist with training and guidance of 1 st and 2 nd line team members
- Take responsibility and exceed company and customer OLA/SLAs
- Provide input into the service departments quality goals and objectives
- Provide technical guidance to field engineers
- Create and maintain strong relationships with clients
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a 3rd line technical support role, supporting a variety of core infrastructure technology and services
- Proven experience of supporting a broad range of enterprise technologies and applications including:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services
- IIS
- SharePoint
- Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp
- Networking (DNS, DHCP, switches, routers)
- Firewalls, perimeter/security devices, databases
- Backup
- Security software and SQL server
Job Role: 3 rd Line Engineer
Day Rate: £300 - £350
Length of contract: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
