This is a 6 month paid part-time internship opportunity starting immediately.
The ideal person for our team will be comfortable in customer deployments / projects and committed to delivering excellent work with excellent people. You will have completed at least 3 years of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree and have a curiosity to learn more. Experience in using different programming languages, such as Java, Python, Ruby, Shell etc. is essential and knowledge of XML, SOAP, REST, Diameter, and other TCP/IP protocols is desirable.
We would love it if you have:
- Completed 3 years of a Bachelors degree or equivalent in software or a computer related discipline.
- Software development, preferably in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Experience in Database technology
- Object oriented languages such as C++/Java or structured programming language such as C.
- Understanding of full project delivery from defining requirements to final deployment.
- Demonstrable analysis abilities
We are looking for someone to
- Design, implement, test, deliver and integrate application solutions.
- Work on problems of diverse scope where refinement of design/requirements will be necessary & is expected to drive resolution of requirements. This involves taking requirements from various sources, planning and delivering the resultant project tasks and deliverables.
- Produce functional and design specifications and test plans in the course of implementing solutions.
- Continues to demonstrate an organized, systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to designing, problem solving, coding and defect fixing.
- · Have excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues on a project team and superiors.
