Senior Scala Developer
Remote
£500 per day
Scala Developer to join a leading innovative data team for 6-month contract with a very high likelihood of extensions.
You’ll work within an Agile Scrum Team, working with microservices, coding, testing.You’ll be required to delivery high quality programming in line with client requirements.You will understand agile methodologies, and tools and technologies and associated technologies.
You’ll be able to influence the team and your peers, as well as customers that can support in the successful delivery of the project and objectives where required, as well as demonstrating an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.

·Commercial experience in programming in Scala.
·Understanding pf web/agile technologies and RESTful protocols.
·Knowledge of NoSQL database systems such as Mongo.
·AWS Cloud experience and a DevOps mentality.
·Work from Jira tickets with defined goals & test criteria implementing RESTful microservices.
·Build and maintain digital services within an agile Kanban or Sprint environment.
·Have input on the Design, Jira tickets, priorities & test strategies as the team works as one self-managed unit without undue interference.
·Take a lead where required, ability to influence to align with team objectives
·Select applicable standards, tools, methods and applications.
