Job Description :
Looking for a dev ops engineer for a long term position in the Princeton NJ area. Candidates should also be able to do some java and java script. Looking for a well rounded individual with experience in Automation and Build automation, Looking for help developing a CI CD (continuous integration and continuous development) pipeline. Will be responsible for Automated builds to aws environment and deployments. Should be comfortable working with aws and creating Ec2 instances.
Good working knowledge and understanding of Java and Javascript
Experience with software configuration and deployments tools (Maven/Ant, Jenkins, SVN/Git )
Configure and set up of new environments for testing, includes jboss/tomcat, EWS/Apache configuration
Experience with continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
Strong Unix skills. Shell scripting is must.
Use of AWS services such as AWS S3, EC2, CloudWatch, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB and other services
Strong background in task automation and ability to streamline deployment procedures and processes
Databases such as Oracle and writing SQL queries
Experience with Splunk Searching and Reporting (Preferred but not required)
Experience with performance testing using tools such as Jmeter (Preferred but not required)
