Java Developer (Remote)

Client has a legacy custom java application on LINUX but not the internal knowledgeable resources to understand and assist in the migration. There may be minor code changes required relating to having the application work in the new UNIX environment.

Our client is seeking a qualified technical resource with senior level experience with:

• 10+ year in extensive experience in Java with multithreading capabilities

• J2EE Servlets

• JSP

• JDBC

• Programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Triggers for the Oracle 10g/11g and SQL server

databases

• 5 years with Web tools and languages HTML, HTML5/CSS3, XML, CSS, DHTML, Java Script

• Experience in Web/Application Servers: Apache Tomcat-based Servlet Engine 4.1.29.06 is a plus

• Experience in Unix and Linux and HP-UX is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:

• Oracle 10g/11g and SQL server: 7 years (Preferred)
• Java: 10 years (Preferred)
• HTML, HTML5/CSS3, XML, CSS, DHTML, Java Script: 5 years (Preferred)
