Job Title: Java Application Developer
Location: : Kenilworth, NJ (Remote)
Duration: 6 plus Months (Possible extn.)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Qualifications:
The primary focus will be to help configure our workplace app using a no-code platform. These projects will be rolled out in multiple sites around the world and the candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with many site leads and important stakeholders. Education:
Bachelor's degree - Open to lower than bachelors with commensurate experience. Open to someone out of college with a 2 years of work experience in a professional environment * Familiarity with the mobile app development process Able to learn a new program quickly * Some familiarity with mobile apps and backend app development process * Must be very detail oriented * Excellent organizational skills Very familiar with Microsoft Programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Experience in a large corporate cross-functional environment - Working with diverse colleagues in a team environment from different departments such as IT, marketing, facilities, real estate etc. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills * Familiarity with app development process/SDLC * JIRA for project management Kanban or Scrum Sprint/Agile work style familiarity * familiar with Microsoft office products * Experience with IT environment preferred Responsibilities:
Looking for an App Configurator to assist with their new Return to the Workplace Smart application. The timeline is short; leadership wants the new project, (approximately 150 + sites) to complete by the end of 2021. The primary job responsibilities include: * Daily Scrum/Agile standups * Assistance with app configuration - You will work with a third part platform to update text, add files, text, photos, etc. Each site is very specific to travel, food, local policies, etc. Researching other sites/active sites - Leveraging for information to build others * Reaching out to site resources for details * Data entry * Work with a team in gathering requirements Defining application architecture * Developing application modules, and unit testing of deliverables * 6 months role w/ possible extension * 2 positions available * Fully remote - EST hours If this role sounds interesting to you and you wish to apply, Please connect with me at earliest:
