Infrastructure Engineer (EUC) - Retail Environment

Infrastructure Engineer (EUC) | Bracknell | 6 Months

We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our clients for a 6 month contract based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

This role is based within the Infrastructure and Security EUC team within their IT department. This team is responsible for the design, development and support of EUC infrastructure for our client's HQ, distribution and branch sites.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge and experience with Windows OS, specifically Windows 7 and Windows 10
• Good knowledge and experience of Mobile Operating Systems (Android & iOS)
• Good knowledge and experience with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) technologies for the configuration and management of mobile devices
• Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Enterprise Management Tools e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into project requirements
• Ability to communicate/translate technology to non-technical customers/users
• Ability to work with a team of Infrastructure Engineers, supporting knowledge sharing and delivery of quality solutions to across the business
• Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
• Experience of change, problem and incident management in accordance with ITSM standards
• Experience within the Retail sector

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Windows Embedded POSReady and/or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
• Knowledge of non-Microsoft Operating Systems e.g. MacOS, ChromeOS
• Experience with scripting languages e.g. Powershell, VBScript, Batch
