Front End Developer
Advantage Resourcing is seeking development candidates to apply for a Front End Development vacancy. This will be working with a leading Oil and Gas organisation on their online presence globally. This will be based in a Central London location, for 6 months initially and at the limited rates of £400 - £550 per day limited company/umbrella.
This is working on a state of the art AEM platform that currently attracts 44m visitors annually serving 170m page impressions to approx. 140 unique websites, while also delivering to hybrid mobile applications. Development of one of the world's leading corporate web sites requires global scope, exposure to leading web technologies plus a formidable competitive edge.
This mature Biz DevOps team which follows a hybrid SaFe-Scrum Agile approach the Front End Developer is responsible for the delivery of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which will run in the end user browser.
The right candidate will have solid experience in website delivery and/or mobile application development - specifically experience in shaping deliverables based on agency delivered, pixel perfect designs, delivering new functionality and enhancements to a large scale multi facet content management system.
Technical experience
*In depth knowledge of HTML5 *In depth knowledge of CSS3 (Less, Sass, Stylus is a plus) *Detailed knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015 is a plus) *Good knowledge of Node.js & NPM *Gulp or Grunt experience is a plus *Experience with reactive programming paradigm (Ractive.js, Angular.js, Meteor or similar) *Experience in a DevOps environment (Linux/ Apache)
The successful candidate may be/have:
*Adobe Certification (is a plus) *Experience with other Content Management Systems *Social Media *Mobile *Third Party Integration (APIs, XML, WebServices) *Browser Capabilities (Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS) *Technical oPuppet oLess, Sass, Stylus oES2015
