    DevOps Engineer is required for an initial 6-month contract at a leading Bank based in London who is going through a major Engineering Transformation programme.

    THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE

    As the DevOps ideally you will have come from a coding/development background, understand the entire DevOps toolchain from a quality perspective, and have the ability to work as a team, mentoring and assisting others when necessary.

    Job Description:

    Cloud development (Azure, AWS or other) experience is must. The core part of the job will consist in development of .NET applications, microservices and bot/cognitive development, contributing to the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance. You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality and implementation.

    • Design and implement a mobile application for iOS and Android using React Native

    Required Experience and Skills

    • 5+ years of typescript
    • Keeps up with current ECMA features with a base understanding of ES6 at least

    This portfolio includes a number of enterprise-level applications such as the Kuali Financial System (KFS), FIS Decision Support, e-Procurement (AggieBuy), Travel & Entertainment Expense Reporting (AggieTravel), HR/Payroll (PPS/UCPath), Work Order Management (AggieFacilities), Controlled Substances Management, Campus Events Management System (CEMS), Davis/Berkeley Shuttle, and the Campus Map.     Job Summary

    Under broad direction of Administration IT (Admin IT) Applications and Integrations unit supervisor, design, develop, and maintain a variety of complex applications in support of the needs of Finance, Operations, and Administration (FOA). The systems and applications supported by this position are locally developed or vendor systems that serve a wide audience, including students, staff, faculty, and the public. Deliver solutions that are robust in terms of security, functionality, usability, maintainability, and scalability. Provide analysis and decision support services, in addition to escalated technical support for business applications. Provide advanced programming and database design skills.     Required :

    -Advanced experience leading a project and working collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff to meet project and organizational goals.
