£600-700 PER DAY

Are you looking for an opportunity to help design and deliver an end to end Cloud solution? If you are an experienced Cloud Architect this is the role for you!

THE COMPANY:

As Cloud Architect, you will have the chance to work for one of the major financial organisations which has a customer base of over 30 million. You will be leading several projects within commercial banking which will help make their customers experience online more seamless.

THE ROLE:

You will be working alongside a Dev Ops team in helping to manage the architecture of the cloud platform. You will be providing technical expertise in helping to oversee the transition of applications into the cloud using open source technologies. You must therefore have a deep understanding of AWS and its relevant components as well as knowledge on the implementation of CI/CD pipelines. You will be helping to provide end to end solutions on the cloud, programming mainly within Python and R. You will also be working closely with the Data Science team in helping to productionise Machine Learning models.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Working closely with the Dev Ops team in the building, deployment and integration of the Cloud platform
• Leading the Data Science team in productionising Machine Learning algorithms
• Managing an architecture domain within the overall cloud platform

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Cloud Architect will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience orchestrating and designing a cloud platform
• Good experience programming in Python and R
• Experience mentoring or leading team members under them as well as senior stakeholders
• The ideal candidate will be a certified Cloud Data Engineer
