At Ayokay, we are seeking bright web design and developers to join our team.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining various websites.
For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our clients' business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. You should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.
We are open to Design-only or Development-only applicants.
Responsibilities
* Design beautiful, responsive website designs, using primarily responsive or "mobile first" design.
* Develop websites primarily in WordPress
* Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
* Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
Requirements
* Work experience managing projects
* Hands-on experience with project management software, like Basecamp or Teamwork
* Familiarity with Content Management systems (such as WordPress) and very basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
* Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
* Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Communication and team management skills
* Willingness to learn! Since we provide services in the latest that marketing technology has to offer, a willingness to learn and adapt are important
* We value experience and a desire to learn over degrees, but a BS in Computer Science, Digital Marketing or relevant field wouldn't hurt
This is a contract position. If all goes well, full time may be considered.
