Planet Technology is seeking a Product Designer and/or UX/UI Designer on a contract to hire basis. 3-6 month contract to start and goal is to convert into full-time employment once the contract period ends.
As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from research and ideation to pushing pixels and communicating with engineers. You will be expected to utilize your full range of UX design, interaction design, and visual design skills.
Location: west coast / mountain time zones but FULLY REMOTE position.
Job Responsibilities
Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into functional digital products
Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
Create complex wireframes, user flows, customer journeys, etc.
Design both high and low fidelity porotypes
Work directly with product, engineering, and development team to ensure consistency and functionality
Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to ensure the quality of design
Partner with PMs, engineers and researchers to align the business objectives with user goals
Building applications for native mobile and responsive web applications
Job Qualifications:
3+ years of experience designing and building applications for native mobile and responsive web
SaaS, CRM, or CMS design experience
Sketch + InVision required
Axure a plus
A portfolio that shows complex wireframes and user flows, case studies, and strong UX understanding
Deep understanding of building UX Design within SaaS products or similar
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design
Experience communicating with cross-functional teams
Understanding research methodologies and usability testing
Huge plus if you have these skills:
UX design experience within analytics software, understanding how to incorporate data into designs
