UI designer required for an exciting opportunity with a household name based in Leeds. This is initially a 12 month contract to work with the Service Design Team to continue to deliver best in class experiences for customers wishing to manage their account online. As a Designer, you will be involved in building the clients front end presence, which will allow users to see the state of their online ecosystem (including any device co ected to their broadband, TV devices like miniboxes etc.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in most of the following:

  • digital platforms design experience, ideally at enterprise level or working with a digital agency
  • Solid understanding of visual and User-Centered design principles and practices, and how design can meet brand, business and strategic objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to convey complex design concepts clearly to different delivery skill sets within the organisation
  • Proficient with the tools and applications such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working within an agile environment, and in a highly collaborative ma er with multiple delivery skill sets
  • Experience working alongside UX researchers, Information Architects and UX designers

This contract is currently fully remote with some office based work when safe to do so, likely 2 days per week in Leeds. Its also inside IR35 so either PAYE or umbrella company.

You'll focus on both the UX and visual design of our native iOS and Android app. More than simply designing great experiences, you will work with the product manager to shape new and innovative features.

You will work in multi-disciplinary highly collaborative teams, applying Agile and Lean techniques to help solve really big problems.

We'd love someone with;

  • Experience as a Product Designer in a mobile app environment, working on iOS and Android apps.
  • Experience with end-to-end (UX and UI) product design.
  • Knowledge of the best mobile app UX patterns and IxD patterns to meet the expectations of iOS and Android users.
  • The ability to think conceptually, as well as obsessing over the detail.
  • Experience in diagramming, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience working with lean principles in an Agile environment.

Your day-to-day role will involve:

  • Conceptualizing original ideas to meet user and business needs.
  • Evolving ideas from sketches to mid-fidelity designs.
  • Designing workflows and detailed interactions that brings the experience to life.
  • Creating prototypes and screen schematics.
  • Validating designs with our users.
  • Working closely with engineers as they build and release.
  • Finding creative ways to optimise user journeys.

We are looking for three Senior UX/ UI designers to help out on some really important work surrounding customer experience for one of our longest standing clients. We are looking for analytical thinkers and problem solvers to help translate strategic requirements into User-Centred designs.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience working on web accessibility projects, both native mobile apps and web applications, and translating a brand's look over to new products and features.

You will also ideally have experience using Figma, as well as prototyping, wireframing and running facilitation workshops.
