SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer

Pertemps Managed Solutions are currently searching for an SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer to work with one of the UKs major utility providers.

SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer - Role Objective:
Working as part of our agile data delivery team to design, develop, test and release on cadence, based on business requirements. The developer will be responsible for the design/development of data structures and the extract, transform and load process.

SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer - Key Accountabilities:

• Undertaking Data Warehouse design, development, testing and release to agreed deadline.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders and wider delivery team ensuring timely delivery.
• Supports transition from development to support, as and when any project / enhancement is moved to production and provides sign-off on completion of transition against agreed acceptance criteria.
• Creates, reviews and provides approval for documents and technical specifications on an ongoing basis.
• The role may require working longer hours in order to meet project/business deadlines.

SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer - Technical Experience:
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Data Warehouse Developer role
• Logical and physical data modelling experience
• In-depth experience of SQL (specifically SQL Server)
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• SQL Server Design Tool (SSDT)
• Experience of C#
• Experience of working as part of an Agile Scrum Team

Qualifications:

• Expert working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server)
• A Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification/experience
• ITIL Foundation Certificate (desirable)

SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer - Additional Information:
Location: Coventry
Duration: as soon as possible until end of June
Rate: £400/day - £450/day
