We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and adaptable SharePoint Developer (9 month contract) who will be responsible for developing, configuring and supporting solutions in SharePoint online (O365) in order to help staff improve the way they handle their information and content. You will also be responsible for advising on and developing the company Intranet to support effective communication across the rapidly growing organisation.

For this, you will need to understand and be able to clearly demonstrate features of SharePoint and articulate these to colleagues in a variety of business scenarios. This position pays up to £350 per day.

The job
  • Work with the Executive Leadership team to identify requirements for the new company intranet
  • Develop and implement a new company Intranet
  • Document and implement robust change request procedures for the newly created intranet
  • Provide user training and support
  • Review the current SharePoint document site, scope out and develop new functionality
The person
  • Project experience or heightened technical knowledge of Cloud applications and specifically of developing solutions in SharePoint.
  • A background in delivering solutions with a strong User Experience element as they seek to improve the way their users interact with the information they hold in SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Content Management concepts such as Document and Records Management Content Migration and collaboration
  • Microsoft Certification: MCPD/MCTS/MCAD/MCSD (highly favoured)
  • Experience of working in a Scrum or Agile setting
  • Online / O365 development and implementation experience
  • JavaScript, TypeScript
  • js, JQuery within SPFx for development of custom WebParts.
  • HTML, CSS
