ServiceNow ITBM Developer (Remote)

We are a ServiceNow focused IT Consulting company and a ServiceNow partner. We are looking for a US based ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This initial engagement would be 80 hours a month for 3 months to see if we are a good fit. A full-time position will then be offered to the right resource. Said ServiceNow Developer will have a fundamental understanding of ITSM and ITIL business processes; but have expertise within the ITBM module. You need to have experience working closely with SME’s, project managers, and process owners to understand business requirements, translate into technical specifications and develop ServiceNow functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical and technical expertise for ServiceNow configurations and scripts.
• When provided with stories from client, be able to execute on said stories
• Use scripting tools to create ServiceNow functionality and automate routine tasks being done in

ServiceNow.

• Articulate technical concepts using easily understandable business language.
• Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of configuration and/or customization experience with ServiceNow

modules and a focus on ITBM and ITOM

• Work with process owners to develop and implement ServiceNow workflows and stories

Required Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of ServiceNow development and configuration preferred
• ServiceNow System Administration Certification
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
• Strong working knowledge of key ServiceNow applications – ITBM, ITOM and ITSM
• Project management or development lifecycle skills beneficial
• Good analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems
• Three-plus years of experience using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, Jelly

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $60.00 to $90.00 /hour
