In order to achieve this, we require additional development resource to give us the tools we need to significantly grow our sales and user base.

Purpose of the role:

We’re looking for a developer to join us on a 3-month basis to work on a project to reshape our automated license renewal email programs and their integrations.

In order to better align ourselves with our parent company Avast, we’re currently undergoing some system transformations and migrating to a new platform that stores and delivers licensing information. This transition requires our ESP (email services provider) to be integrated with both our new and existing licensing platforms so we can continue to deliver personalized renewal emails to our customer base and ensure that their resulting actions correctly update the necessary systems.

In order to be considered for this role, you’ll have demonstrable C# experience, a good understanding of how REST APIs are called and ideally, experience working with ESPs and ecommerce or licensing platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

This role requires aligning with both the marketing and development teams to:

• Integrate both our new and existing license platforms with our ESP (Dotdigital) so all systems are maintained
• Implement newly-specified email automation programs and features using clean, well-designed code
• Work through development backlog of known bugs
• Spec end-to-end testing for the QA team, and rollout
• Document end-to-end processes and technical specifications

Your Profile:

• Good knowledge of C# and SQL
• Understanding of how REST APIs are called
• Ability to think laterally to redesign systems that solve problems
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
• Ability to quickly learn new products, focusing on their integration interfaces

Bonus skills:

• Experience working with Liquid script
• Experience working with Dotdigital, or other ESPs
• Familiarity with the e-commerce or tech industries
• Experience with online carts or license management systems is an asset

Ideally this position is based in our central London office. However, given the current situation, we are also open to a complete remote working arrangement for the term of the contract.
