West Tenth is a digital marketplace app that helps you find women running home based businesses in your local community. Customers can find locally crafted services such as event planning, interior/landscape design, custom jewelry/art/invitations, baking, photography, crafted goods and so much more.
West Tenth is looking for a lead software engineer to perform the following:
- Maintain and improve code quality and organization of the West Tenth React Native iOS app
- Scope time requirements and implementation details for new features
- Architect and implement new features from design mockups
- Make small changes to connected website
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS & Express
- Full-stack development experience
- Experience with microservices
- 1+ years of experience with React & Typescript - React native/Expo experience preferred
- Experience with Apollo and GraphQL
- Previous experience working in a team-based environment using Github, pull requests, etc.
- Experience working with Cloud IAAS - Google Cloud/Firebase preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience converting a React Native iOS project to Android
