My client based in Manchester are due to a sustained period of growth looking for a Lead .Net Developer to take on the responsibility of leading a team of developers initially on a 12 month contract.
The purpose of this role is to support the development of my clients software. You will be responsible for overseeing the development work being done by the .Net development team. You will also act as a mentor and be expected to deliver training to new or lower-level developers. You will need to demonstrate previous Development Lead experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, coach and mentor the software development team
Ensure the team are meeting company goals, KPIs and development targets
Facilitate scrum activities including stakeholder meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives and daily scrums
Completion of development tasks through Scrum Agile methodology
Analysis of functional requirements documentation
Required Attributes:
At least 5 years' experience
Proven record of leading development teams within Agile Scrum methodologies
Experience with OOP in C# (.NET, .NET Core, MVC, WCF)
Experience of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies (Amazon Web Services)
Excellent communicator with an ability to inspire and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
