A leading software company in central London require a Java developer with deep technical hands-on experience in developing Java based Microservices.

Key Skills

• Java based Microservices
• Deep technical hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs in Spring Boot framework, ideally with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Strong working knowledge of deploying Cloud Foundry; either Open Source or PCF
• Experience leveraging Cloud Foundry in Platform-as-a-Service and everything-as-code environments, ensuring it is fully utilised to deliver maximum value.
• Experience working on Java applications, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot, alongside familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Web Services, micro service architectures and REST Based APIs

• Knowledge of concurrency.
• Experience with Non-Relational databases.
• Experience of Testing Practices and Patterns, particularly TDD and BDD.
• Experience with CI/CD tool, Docker, Git/Bitbucket, SonarQube
• Experience of working in an Agile TDD environment
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
