An innovative start-up in Bristol is looking for 2 contract engineers to come in and support the development team on a 3-6 week contract during this large piece of new work on their platform. Their wider customer base is spread across both public and private sectors and there will be the potential to help guide the future development of the platform during your time there. Ideally you’ll be based in the office at least 3 or 4 days a week but they are open to discussion.
What skills you’ll need
You will need have to have experience with SaaS/CSS styling React components
Other skills like HTML, JavaScript could be useful.
Youll be capable of working independently, communicating with the team primarily using Slack when needed.
Available to start within less than 2 weeks.
What you’ll be doing?
You will be working on a custom build with the development team with the project to go live within the next month or 2. You will be focussing on the front-end but if capable can do some back-end work as well upgrading their existing features as well as new. You will be working with the other contractor and the rest of the team to make sure that work is complete to a high standard within the deadlines given. You’ll be able to bring new ideas, suggest on tech and be an important part of this delivery.

Unlike some contracts, you’ll be offered the chance to share your ideas and help guide the future development of the platform. You will be paid a market day rate (£250-£350/day) and be eligible for some remote working. It is also like you’ll receive future work.
