AWS ARCHITECT

The AWS Architect- a combination of a subject matter guru, trusted advisor and cloud services authority, will be responsible, working as part of our Cloud team, to help define the tools, processes and methods, and develop systems. In addition, the AWS Architect will use systems analysis techniques, enterprise architecture planning process and procedures while consulting with clients to determine cloud computing specifications and needs for our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conducts end-to-end AWS Cloud Infrastructure audit and compliance check.
• Ability to provide best AWS Cloud guidance on the architectural design across multiple applications and projects of the enterprise
• Ability to collaborate and evangelize the right AWS cloud solutions throughout the business creating a visionary direction and roadmap for Infrastructure-as-a-Service
• Use extensive AWS technical expertise to build the business case for changes in the infrastructure architecture strategy
• Advocate Dev Sec Ops mindset and security aware culture to integrate automated approaches to bake security requirements into development workflows.
• Recommend and define DevSecOps pipeline architecture and tooling requirements
• Responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure standards, design, systems analysis, security, compute, storage and network.
• Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining AWS services to use in the solution.
• Communicates and validates cloud architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team.
• Own overall cloud solution architecture including direction, principles, various levels of abstraction, and current state

Required Skills:

• 5+ years successfully designing and implementing successful public AWS cloud solutions
• 10+ years in working with Compute, Storage, Network Security, Infrastructure and Data Center technologies
• Three years of experience within the last five (5) years with DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automation tooling, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Background and experience working with and establishing a DevOps team, practices, and culture
• Proven work experience as a Cloud Architectwith cloud technologies and building enterprise architecture roadmaps
• A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment and the ability to lead.
• Experience working in AWS via the CLI and management console. Knowledge and experience architecting and configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs)
• Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management.
• Configuration virtual infrastructure components (routers, firewalls, switches, load-balancers, IPS, IDS, SSL, TLS, storage, encryption, security tools, management tools, etc.)
