My client, a highly successful not-for-profit organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre, has just re-released a key Automaton Tester/Software Developer in Test requirement on an initial 6-month contract.
Joining an existing team to assist with current / growing workloads, essential skills required for this role will be;
Strong all-round Automation Testing experience
Comfortable working in java development environments, so strong Java knowledge/coding ability would be a massive bonus
Knowledge of either of the following; Javascript, PHP or Python
Experience of AGILE project methodology.
Experience of Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
In-depth knowledge of BDD, TDD and manual testing.
Knowledge & experience in other Agile / Digital / SME Clients & environments (rather than large corporate or Public Sector Clients)
Desirable skills include:
Experience of testing and deploying in the cloud.
Knowledge of load and performance testing.
Experience of using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar.
