Immediate 6 months initial and extendable contract assignment (long term project) for an experienced Workspace ONE engineer to work on a large Banking client programme delivering a Workspace One technical solution project located in London and working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as an Engineer within the Collaboration team
• As the workspace one engineer you will be expected to support all key Engineering activities. The role will cover the design and oversight of solution design, test and implementation of all aspects of the Workspace One solution, working to high standards of quality and delivery.
• A large part of the role will include ensuring effective integration with the broader IT environment therefore full appreciation of associated infrastructure and core services is required i.e. Network, Directory Services, Security, Collaboration etc.
• Support the full Engineering lifecycle including:
  • Requirements Analysis
  • High- and Low-Level Design creation and documentation
  • Creation of Operational handover documentation
  • Engagement with Security, Risk and Compliance teams as required to support organisational review processes and ensure solution adherence with Security, Risk and Compliance requirements
  • Participation in required governance processes
  • Solution testing
  • General activities within the scope of Design, Engineering, Testing and Operational handover, this includes, but is not limited to: Incident/Problem Management, Security Patch integration, Product Change engineering
• Must demonstrate comparable experience working at scale in a Global environment

Skills Required:

• The Workspace One must have relevant experience in a Global Financial organisation
• In-depth experience in an Engineering role working with large organisations providing technical solutions in the collaboration space
• A successful track record of delivering large scale and complex solutions
• Excellent client facing skills, written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Design and implementation (in an Engineering capacity) of Workspace One
• Must have experience in Workspace One Application integration
• Workspace One scripting experience
• Experience in Engineering Workspace One within a global organisation which supports in excess of 20,000 users
• Full appreciation and experience of integrating Workspace One in a complex environment
• Ability to support Operational process design including release management, service management, incident/problem management etc.
• Understanding of design implications for integration of Office 365 with the Platform
