UI/UX Designer & Builder (Remote)

The Job

• Create functional, responsive, templates and page designs.

• Collaborate with other designers and developers on various projects.

• Work with designers and digital marketing strategists to determine project specifics.

• Manage multiple projects at any one time.

• Demonstrate mastery in creating page layouts within the WP Bakery and Salient Theme frameworks.

• Establish UI/UX design deliverables through block diagrams, wireframes, mood boards, mockups and specifications. Develop a style guide.

• Collaborate on the planning and development of WordPress content architecture.

• Support the conversion of approved designs to functional, responsive, web/mobile templates and pages using WordPress CMS.

• Use CRM, Email Marketing and other third-party tools and platforms.

• Work strategically with the content and marketing teams to ensure effective page optimization, usability, and brand adherence.

• QA WordPress implementations.

• Research, explore and share any UI/UX trends, updates and relevant innovations.

Qualifications

• Must be a designer of everything digital (websites, email marketing, social media, etc.)

• Must have extensive experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design (Sketch and XD experience a plus)

• Must have the ability to understand client needs and turn them into polished final designs

• Must have 2+ years professional Wordpress knowledge

• Must have experience working with developers to create web-ready layouts and assets

• Must have experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Designing for WordPress: 2 years (Required)
• Agency: 1 year (Preferred)
• UX/UI Design: 2 years (Required)
