I am currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Java/ C#) to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business. Responsibilities The automation test analyst will work closely with the development teams from the start of development in order to advise on what is needed to facilitate automation and to understand the test cases that will be required to achieve full test coverage.Taking part in whole team daily meetings from the outset of a project to discuss issues, progress and blockers.Working closely with functional testers to help support them in the automation of existing testing. Providing training, support and specific scripts to them to help design and build maintainable automated test suites.The individual will help diagnose the causes of failures in execution of test suites when they occur and work with the development teams to resolve them.
Experience required Experienced Test EngineerStrong automation testing experience in a complex areaJava/ C# programmingInvestment banking (Ex: FX, FX Derivatives, ETD, FI Securities, Rates, CDS, Basis, Fixed float, Zero coupon swap, FRA, OIS)Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platformsExcellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)Experience with DB and RESTFUL service testing automationExperience with JMeter testing Contract£550- £600 per dayLocation- London If you feel like you are a strong match for my requirements, please send me over an updated copy of CV and I will get back in touch.
