Software DevOps Engineer (CD / Automation) (Remote)

Terrific long-term contract opportunity for DevOps Engineer from either a SW Development or Cloud background to join a high performance, developer productivity team. The bulk of the team are based in Glasgow but this role will be fully remote for now. We're looking for multi-technologists with a range of skills and passion for new technologies to join this team providing technical guidance and efficiencies to the development community.

You'll be helping to deploy software more effectively across the team with a goal of near-zero depolyment downtime. It's likely you enjoy bringing improvements and productivity enhancements to your current and previous teams.

There are three main technical threads to this role - we're looking for expertise in at least 1 of the 3, with the drive to lea the others.

Experience includes any of the following:-

• Software engineering with skills in either Java or Python
• DevOps specialist with skills in the likes of CD, automation, Jenkins, Git or Maven
• Pubic cloud and containers - any from AWS, Azure or Kube etes
