My client is looking for SC cleared software developers to be based in London - however, remote working is possible.
Description:
*Experience of building solutions and detailed knowledge of OpenShift/Containers, KAFKA, Java
, DevOps
*Working within the team to help design and operate a scalable, robust, cost effective toolset for the development, testing, deployment
*Automating and streamlining our systems, operations and processes
*Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers.
*Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team, using tools such as Slack, WebEx and JIRA
*Developing alongside numerous developer colleagues in a small development team atmosphere; reviewing code, providing recommendations and working off a backlog of JIRA Kanban tasks
*Working under the guidance of the Technical Lead to elaborate Stories based on a tranche of example Use Cases
*Upskilling and ensuring that skills remain relevant at all times according to the latest technology updates for software in use on the project
Required skills:
*OpenShift/Containers, KAFKA, Java, DevOps
* Experience within a software development role as a developer
*Well-versed in Agile Ways of Working through previous project experience and, ideally, IBM learning/ Badges
*Ability to quickly research and learn new cloud engineering tools and techniques
Nice to have skills:
*PKI
