As a Senior Node.js backend developer, you’ll build the backend API and services that power a web application used by millions of people.
Location - Fully remote with some overlap with US (Pacific coast) working hours.
Duration – Long-term contract, with benefits.
To be considered for this position you must have all of the following qualifications:
- Exceptional problem solving abilities.
- 5+ years development experience building backend components in at least one modern language such as Node.js, Python, Scala, Go on a strong engineering team.
- Prior experience with Node.js.
- Be a fast and avid learner, and have a can-do attitude. You will have to learn new problem areas, code bases, and custom tools.
- Be able to write and communicate in English.
- A degree in computer science (or equivalent).
Other desired skills (but not required):
- Experience building Docker images and using Docker for development and deployment.
