YOUR ROLE

The Senior Marketing Consultant engages with clients in technology and small business to drive strategy, branding, web development, social, and digital marketing. You have 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing. You apply your hands-on experience as a marketing director or similar roles to organize and execute marketing plans.

You are comfortable working remotely, you're self-driven, client-friendly, and capable of both hands-on work and thoughtful delegation and project management.

SKILLS

  • A proven portfolio of deliverables you've produced that is 100% your work that you share with your application (URL or attach PDF).
  • Compelling show-and-tell work in at least two (2) of the following areas: Writing marketing plans, copywriting, web design or UX/UI, social strategies, email or click-funnel marketing.
  • Demonstrable skills using at least one of the following: Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce, Infusionsoft, or other top-shelf CRM or email automation systems.
  • Impeccable writer and communicator. You check your spelling. You write plainly and efficiently.
  • Excellent speaking and interpersonal skills. Worthy of respect, low on ego, confident but never condescending.
  • High competency if not expertise using three (3) or more of the following: Microsoft Office (including Excel), Google Docs, Adobe Suite, WordPress, Canva, and/or other video editing, graphic design, UX/UI, and web design platforms.
  • Abilities to travel occasionally, lift up to 25 lbs. if needed, speak and write standard American English with clarity and precision, work continuously on a computer and using various telephonic and related office equipment.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing as a marketing manager, director or other critical producer role, like webmaster, analyst or senior copywriter.
  • Experience with tech brands, comfortable about technical products and services, able to quickly learn and apply past experience to new challenges.
  • Hands-on experience running multiple projects.
  • C-level exposure doing presentations, meetings, projects, and other high profile roles.

EDUCATION

  • BA/BS required in relevant discipline such as business, marketing, design, or economics.
  • Masters is preferred but not necessary.
  • Mullti-lingual could be helpful but not necessary.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
