With new offices in Edinburgh city centre combined with the birth of fantastic new projects, they currently have a need to onboard the following on a contract basis (inside IR35 / via umbrella): Senior Java Developer - Capable of crafting and creating high quality, robust application solutions including the development of new features and functionalities as well as augmentations to existing code-base - Well-versed in java, J2EE, spring - Experienced with GUI frameworks (Spring MVC) - Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design, concurrency patterns, scripting and RESTful web services - Should be experienced in working under agile (Scrum) or semi-iterative development environments - Demonstrable experience with cloud-based tech and devops tooling is highly advantageous Aside from the above skills and competencies, our client seeks a hard-working, driven individual – not afraid to face up to the challenges offered by a new role.
This role sits INSIDE IR35 – so needs to be completed via one of the client’s pre-approved umbrella organisations.
Although normally based in Edinburgh city centre, this role will be fully remote for the foreseeable future whilst ingoing challenges with Covid-19 persist.
