PHP Developer – Short Term Contract

My client is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and talented developer for an initial short term contract based in South Gloucestershire. You will be working on an Open Source website that has been built in WordPress . My client’s users will have access to the site via a variety of authentication methods , these authentication methods will be built into a custom plugin, so commercial experience with similar projects is key for this role.

Must have:

• Excellent PHP skills
• Ability to build plugins or authentication
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields
• Attention to detail – the client has provided a very detailed list of regulations that must be adhered to
• Ability to follow instructions – documentation will be given to read as part of the onboarding process. This must be read and Understood and adhered to at all times
• Able to work on site (Tytherington) – Then remote working.

Desirable:

• CSS
• Bootstrap
• JavaScript

The focus of the project is back end PHP development. No front end work required. My client has used Advanced Custom Fields to manage the content so experience with this is also essential.
