Node.JS Senior Developer, Express, React - Remote working - Contract

This is an opportunity for an international leader in electronic security devices whose products protect people and property around the world. They are looking for an experienced Senior Node.JS developer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in architecting, developing and maintaining this service, as it forms the heart of new projects.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate's responsibilities may include: * Integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic * Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code * Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications * Implementation of security and data protection * Integration of data storage solutions
Key skills and attributes:
The successful candidate will have: * Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ideally Bootstrap, JQuery) * Knowledge of Node.js, specifically Express * Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds * Good understanding of templating languages, specifically Pug (Jade) * Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors such as Less or SASS * Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3 * User authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers, and environments * Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
