Messaging Infrastructure Analyst – Support – 2nd / 3rd Line
A Messaging Support Analyst is required to join the IT Infrastructure support team within our client, a leading Investment Management business.
This position will provide operational 2nd and 3rd line support of the messaging infrastructure, including the administration, monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting of Exchange 2013 and Azure AD/O365 systems.
The analyst will be involved in the migration and operational support of a new Azure/O365 cloud-based messaging environment. The Messaging team also works closely with the Network and Architecture Teams to deliver a stable and resilient infrastructure for the business.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Exchange 2013
Excellent knowledge of Exchange Online and Hybrid configurations
Very strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Office 365
Strong experience of Exchange Intra-Organization environments including complex SMTP routing
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office versions 2010 and late.
Highly adept at PowerShell including scripting of administration tasks
Solid understanding of Active Directory, certificate services, and networking services
Experience of Azure AD & Identity
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of management and staff as well as outside vendors, contractors, service providers and consultants
Maintains a professional manner and remains calm under pressure
Initiative and willingness to seek and achieve improvements to processes and technology
Experience working in a global team
